Cox Virginia honors colleague by donating over 8,800 pounds of food to organizations across Virginia

Cox Virginia made a difference for families in need this holiday season by organizing the Brother Ron Food Drive in memory of beloved teammate, Ron Bethea, who passed away earlier this year. Cox Virginia employees and colleagues across the enterprise, collected over 8,800 pounds of food that was donated to six organizations across Virginia, including Empowerhouse Shelter that will help survivors of domestic violence and their children in Fredericksburg; One Word Community Church in Woodbridge to be used in the community during the Christmas season; and Shelter House, an organization that services homeless families and victims of domestic violence in Fairfax County. The remaining three organizations receiving a portion of the donations were in Hampton Roads and Roanoke, VA.
