Dev Technology Group’s DevGivesBack Volunteer Program Supports Several Community Efforts
Dev Technology has been actively engaged in supporting our communities through our DevGivesBack volunteer program. Reflecting on our Community core value, this spring our team participated in several charitable and volunteer activities supporting our local Virginia and DC communities.
In April, our team volunteered at the Food for Others warehouse and packaged 561 Power Packs for FCPS students experiencing food insecurity. We have been supporting Food for Others over the last few years, and grateful to continue our support and bring together a large Dev team to volunteer.
In recognition of May Mental Health Awareness Month, we sponsored and attended the GMU Center for Community Mental Health Food for Thought Fundraiser. We have been participating in and a sponsor of this event for the last seven years, supporting the need for more affordable and accessible mental health services for our community.
The Dev team also sponsored and participated in the After-School All Stars Play for a Purpose Fundraiser event supporting the Washington, DC chapter. Our team and other local companies participated in an evening of fun and games with local DC kids. We are grateful to the Dev team who help raise funds to support the youth’s afterschool development and programs.
And this summer, we will be supporting our charitable partner Homestretch’s kids summer clothing drive. We will be collecting clothing and other items for our adopted family.
Our team is passionate about supporting our communities and we look forward to continuing our engagement initiatives!
