This fall, Dev Technology engaged in several charitable and volunteer activities through its DevGivesBack program, supporting communities across Northern Virginia and beyond. In October, the company held its third annual Week of Service, a week-long initiative that included over 12 events benefiting nine local organizations. Team members contributed more than 326 hours of service, participating in activities such as welcoming veterans with the Honor Flight Network, assisting Food for Others with food sorting and building power packs for students, and supporting the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund with Name Rubbings for veterans’ families. Volunteers also worked with Veterans Moving Forward, helped at a family science night at a local elementary school, and organized a Halloween party for preschoolers at Homestretch.

Additionally, Dev Technology provided financial support to relief efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, contributing to organizations like the Gary Senise Foundation Natural Disaster Relief Fund, the Feeding America Hurricane Relief Fund, and the Appalachian State Disaster Relief Fund. In November, the company hosted its first annual Great Basket Race, a virtual walking challenge that raised $4,326 for Martha’s Table and World Central Kitchen, with employees walking nearly 7 million steps in total. Dev also adopted several families through local organizations like Homestretch and Northern Virginia Family Services, providing holiday gifts.
