Riverside Research Veterans’ and Women’s Employee Research Groups Host Month-Long Coat Drive

This year, the Riverside Research Veterans’ and Women’s Employee Research Groups orchestrated a month-long, multi-office effort to collect new and gently-used coats from employees. The collected coats were donated to local organizations that help those in need during these cold months. In true Riverside Research style, we kept the “fun” in “fundraising” by holding weekly raffles where employees who donated coats were entered into a drawing for small prizes given away across the company.

On Dec. 2, Riverside Research employee volunteers from our Centreville and Crystal City offices gathered at Green Lizard Cycling in Herndon, VA to distribute the collected coats as well as participate in the Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee’s food and clothing drive. Our wonderful volunteers helped receive, sort, and distribute donated food and clothing items from the greater community. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to help the communities where we live and work keep spirits up during this – and every – time of the year.
