In early 2024, RSM US LLP was a proud sponsor of the #HashtagLunchbag event, resulting in over 500 sandwiches and food supplies delivered to multiple local charities in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. In addition, through the RSM US Foundation’s Dollars for Doers program, our employees’ direct volunteer hours were matched with dollars for charitable organizations whose missions align with the foundation’s mission of building tomorrow’s middle market leaders. 

#HashtagLunchbag began on Christmas 2012 in Los Angeles by a group of friends who were having trouble finding a meaningful way to give back to the community. They went to a local grocery store and bought enough food to prepare 100 lunches that they handed out to anyone who could use a meal. To date, their movement has grown to hosting events in 100+ cities around the globe, including right here in Northern Virginia!  

At RSM, giving back to the communities where we live and work is a priority, and we work hard to leave our firm better than we found it. #HashtagLunchbag is just one of the many ways our people make a difference in the community.
