PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families creates face shields for grocery store employees and area nurses

PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families adapted their career and technical education 3D design and print curriculum to help the community during the pandemic.  During the school closure, staff and a student are printing PPE to donate to those working on the frontline to provide us with necessities like groceries and healthcare.  Face shields have been donated to The Kensington, an assisted living facility in Falls Church and the Chesterbrook Safeway in McLean.

Said Michael, Assist. Manager at Safeway in McLean, “now this one; I’ll actually use this one. Thank you.”
