200 BDO Employees and Partners Volunteered at Greater Washington, D.C. Non-Profits

At BDO, we believe that our business, at its core, isn’t about clients won or dollars accounted for. It’s about helping people. It’s about creating a better culture for our employees, in and out of the office. It’s about giving back to our communities and doing our part to preserve the environment. Through BDO Counts, our firmwide initiative, we provide support for our employees and partners as they give their time and energy to the causes and issues unique to their communities, while also fostering teamwork and collaboration among and within our offices.

From June 20 – 24th, over 200 employees and partners volunteered at several local non-profits in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, providing hundreds of hours of volunteer work. The firm made an impact on several causes, including animals, homelessness, environment and hunger through organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Women Giving Back, the Capital Area Food Bank, Friends of Homeless Animals, New Hope Housing, Colvin Run Mill Historic Site and Herndon Parks & Recreation.  BDO also gives our people the opportunity to give back to their communities wherever – and however – they choose and provided options to virtually serve our community through organizations such as Love for Our Elders, Project Linus and UPchieve.
