In November, Brain Injury Services organized a Veterans Appreciation social event for their veteran clients. During this gathering, veterans connected, shared experiences, and planted a Small Winter Pansy Garden. The event fostered a sense of community and support, with participants receiving gifts and cards of appreciation.

This initiative was driven by a pediatric client's goal, who fundraised and coordinated donations for gardening supplies, blankets, bags, and thank-you cards. The participants enjoyed lunch from Mission BBQ and Edible Arrangements. The event marked the first in-person gathering for veteran clients since the start of the COVID lockdown, showcasing the collaborative spirit at Brain Injury Services.
